Located in the Pacific Northwest, the draw of Olympic National Park is its wild and rugged landscape. The majority of the park, over 95%, has been designated by congress as wilderness.
Here you can see wild America with rocky Pacific shores, log jammed beaches, fragile tidepools, untamed rain forests, and rugged mountain peaks. Explore by hiking the many miles of trails or just awe at the spectacular sights.
Named for the Olympic Mountains, the park contains the 7980-feet high Mount Olympus, 60 named glaciers, endless streams, and about 25 species of plant and wildlife that exist no where else on earth.
